We manage the transaction process, and can assist with the legal aspects of the inter-creditor agreements and step-in rights that govern the relationship between the different lenders within the capital structure. We can also match the senior lenders with the mezzanine funders based on their existing inter-creditor arrangements.
Loan security is typically by way of 2nd legal charge and sits behind the senior debt
Pricing is higher for mezzanine loans than normal senior debt (8% to 20% per annum for higher leverage transactions and possibly a profit share for super mezzanine transactions)
